BIOGRAPHY

I took my first photo class while I was still in high school and I was instantly hooked. When I got out of college I spent four years working for dozens of different photographers, absorbing information from each of them. Now I've been taking pictures professionally for almost ten years. In addition to all the weddings that I have photographed I've shot covers and features for magazines such as Interview, 7x7, Remix, Book Magazine, and The San Francisco Guardian. I love what I do and I think it comes through in my work.

When I'm not behind the camera you can find me behind the decks, DJing at your local club! I also enjoy skiing, tennis, bike riding around the city, and backpacking in the Sierras.

I have recently embarked on a very exciting collaborative photo project exploring love. I work with people to create images that finish the sentence "I Love You Because . . . " It's a concept that's best seen to be understood so I encourage you to check out the 36 photos and stories here: www.ilyb.org. I would love to work with my wedding clients to add to the project!
